Playmaking for Kids @ Laurel Ridge

Grades PreK and KDG: Our earliest learners build confidence, focus, and collaboration skills while they explore storytelling through music and creative movement. The session ends with a presentation for friends and family!
Grades 1st-5th: Participants in this program learn how to create characters and tell stories on stage as an ensemble through creative play. Children explore improvisation, storytelling, costumes and creative movement. The session ends with a presentation for friends and family! Teachers will draw class material from diverse cultures and world folktales.
PICKUP LOCATION: Pick-up is by the gym. Please do be prompt in picking up your student at 3:45 PM. Permission for your student to walk/go home with a different grown up must be sent to education@synchrotheatre.com
This program will meet for 13 weeks. Playmaking for Kids (PFK) will NOT meet on September 7th and October 5th.
A final sharing will be held on December 7th @ 3:15 PM in the Media Center!
Playmaking for Kids @ GLOBE

Participants in this program learn how to transform their bodies and voices to create characters and tell stories on stage as an ensemble through creative play. Children explore improvisation, storytelling, costumes, set design and creative movement. The session ends with a presentation for friends and family!
This program will meet for 12 weeks. Playmaking for Kids (PFK) will NOT meet on October 8th.
A final sharing will be held on November 19th at 3:30pm - location TBD!
